Spoiler alert—this Happy New Year image was created with help from ChatGPT. Now, that is a sentence I never thought I would write after once being very sure this technology was going to destroy my career.* Instead, it made my work stronger, stretched my thinking, and reminded me that resisting change is far more exhausting than learning how to use it.

Looking back, the last several years have been full of challenge, growth, and the occasional “well, that escalated quickly” moment. Somehow, each year still gets better. Not easier. Just better. Wiser. More aligned.

My wish for the New Year is this; may you surprise yourself. May you grow through what feels uncomfortable. And may 2026 bring you the kind of success that comes from learning the lesson, not avoiding it.

* I still stand by the fact that ChatGPT and other AI tools are not a replacement for the human touch. They are exactly that—tools. Think of it like a backup camera in your car; helpful, confidence-boosting, but you still need to know how to drive.
