Tanya Kett CPC Member

With 20 years of career development experience, Tanya Kett brings a deep commitment to empowering clients through narrative and strengths-based approaches that foster confidence, hope, and self-efficacy. She began as a volunteer in the same office where she works today, gradually moving into roles supporting individuals facing employment barriers in non-profit community organizations and post-secondary institutions . For the past eighteen years in post-secondary settings, Tanya has guided students in overcoming obstacles to meaningful career growth, including three years teaching career management as a college professor.

Tanya’s journey has taught her how to help clients navigate the rapidly shifting career landscape with hope, resilience, and clarity in a world where technology, artificial intelligence, and political and economic changes continually influence the labour market. Her work focuses on helping individuals understand their values, interests, skills, and personality, and how these elements can support fulfilling career paths.

Tanya received the CPC Award of Excellence for Outstanding Career Professional in 2022 and earned her CCDP certification in 2024, a nationally recognized designation. Her credentials also include the Certified Résumé Strategist (CRS) certification from CPC. From 2017 to 2021, she volunteered on CPC’s Communications Team, regularly contributing articles on key career development issues.

Tanya is passionate about supporting personal and professional discovery, helping individuals contribute meaningfully throughout their careers.
