CPC Member Sukhjit Singh

Sukhjit Singh is a Certified Career Strategist (CCS) and has been proudly associated with Career Professionals of Canada since 2015. An award‑winning professional with more than 25 years of experience across the education and non‑profit sectors, he has been recognized repeatedly for his dedication to public service and his commitment to building strong, inclusive communities. Widely regarded as a change agent, Sukhjit received the Outstanding Community Outreach Strategist Award from CPC in 2016.

He is the published author of Same Shoes, Different Doors and The Desi Leadership—two influential works that illuminate the immigrant experience and inspire leaders to create meaningful, lasting change. He is also the founder of Success and Innovation, a non‑profit group dedicated to helping newcomers successfully integrate into Canada with confidence.

A passionate advocate for social and civic inclusion, Sukhjit believes that volunteerism is one of the most powerful ways to understand, contribute to, and grow within a new country. Volunteering has become a defining part of his journey, fuelling his commitment to empower, uplift, and motivate newcomers as they build their own paths in Canada.

Sukhjit’s significant contributions have earned him a number of prestigious awards, including King Charles III Coronation Medal (Volunteer Canada), The Sovereign’s Medal For Volunteers (Governor General of Canada), Outstanding Community Outreach Strategist Award (Career Professionals of Canada), RBC’s Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Award (Canadian Immigrant), Most Collaborative Leader Award (Peel Leadership Centre), Newcomer Gem Volunteer Award (Volunteer MBC), Civic Recognition Award (City of Mississauga), and Master of Success Award (PCPI).
