She supports individuals and organizations by offering employment navigation tools, career transition advice, and skills‑building opportunities. In her current role as an EV Training Success Advisor with the EVolveSkills Program at Achēv, she guides individuals in the automotive sector through professional development pathways and connects them with accessible, no‑cost training programs.

Shobana’s career has included roles such as Career and Training Counsellor, Project Manager, Career Specialist, and Employment Specialist in community and employment service organizations. Across all of these roles, she has remained committed to empowering clients to achieve their goals by guiding informed decision-making and practical career strategies.

Shobana is drawn to this work because it blends relationship‑building, problem‑solving, and meaningful impact, most profoundly when supporting diverse and internationally trained professionals. She is passionate about helping people increase their confidence, access funding opportunities, and secure sustainable employment in a changing labour market.

Shobana holds CCDP (Certified Career Development Practitioner), CCS (Certified Career Strategist), and CRS (Certified Résumé Strategist) designations, reflecting her dedication to professional excellence. She also volunteers as a TRIEC mentor for newcomers in the fields of HR and Social Services.
