CPC Member of the Week: Lisa Macdonald
Lisa Macdonald is a Certified Human Resources Professional and holds the Certified Career Strategist designation. A lifelong learner, she brings over 10 years of experience in coaching and mentoring newcomers and students to achieve their goals. Lisa serves as an educator at the local community college in Kingston, where she acts as a catalyst in the lives of students, enabling their success in both pre- and post-employment journeys. Drawing from her own lived experience as a first-generation Indo Canadian, Lisa’s passion for equity, diversity, and inclusion drives her mission to foster a welcoming community that promotes a sense of belonging based on individual strengths. Moreover, Lisa actively collaborates with employers as an inclusion coach, providing support for their Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives and helping them develop intercultural competency.
