Career Professionals of Canada Announces New Not-For-Profit Association
Canada’s largest national non-profit association for Career Development Professionals.
New Hamburg, Ontario, July 1, 2022 – Career Professionals of Canada (CPC) today announced the creation of a new not-for-profit association for the career development sector, becoming Canada’s first national association supporting Career Development Professionals from coast-to-coast-to-coast.
“CPC is a caring and sharing community of career professionals. We are excited to re-introduce our association to the sector as a not-for-profit organization. This move positions CPC to be a national leader in our field and further strengthens our profession by providing unmatched services,” says Executive Director Sharon Graham. “Our culture is one of purposeful kindness, inclusivity, and engagement. Our call to action is to make an impact within the career development profession—and we’ve done that. Despite today’s challenging circumstances, we have grown in ways we never knew possible. With the incorporation of our new not-for-profit association, we are leading the way again in anticipation of another banner year.”
Career Professionals of Canada’s mission is to inspire practitioners across Canada by providing the support and tools they need to advance their career, business, and professional development goals. Since our founding in 2004, members of our community regularly come together to share and exchange best practices. Today, we support a member base of more than 850 practitioners. Members hold more than 600 certifications attained through CPC, and our distance learning programs have produced more than 1000 graduates in courses related to the sector.
CPC’s programs are designed to be accessible and relevant to a wide spectrum of practitioners. As a not-for-profit association, CPC will continue to bring low-cost and no-cost benefits, courses, certifications, and awards programs to our members. This will enable even more practitioners across Canada to gain contacts, credentials, and credibility within the profession.

Congratulations!!
I just discovered the CPC website and certifications, and I am so happy! I wish I had found you years ago! I have never encountered such an uplifting site before. I feel ready to begin a new career as a resume creator, especially one that is so entuned with my own beliefs. I am in the process of earning the CRS certification, and I already feel so empowered to help others gain their perfect jobs and create new career paths.
