CPC Member Esmaeil Aghajari

Esmaeil Aghajari is a Work Readiness Counsellor with a Master of Education, specializing in helping newcomers navigate and thrive in the Canadian labour market. His background as a Certified Language Assessor provides him with a deep, technical understanding of Canadian Language Benchmark [CLB] frameworks and language barriers.

Currently at the Regina Immigrant Women Centre, as a new career development practitioner, Esmaeil leverages his expertise in language assessment, interviewing, and teaching to provide holistic, individualized career counselling. From résumé writing and mock interviews to facilitating workshops on regulated careers and coping with rejection, he helps clients build the soft skills, resilience, and readiness needed to secure meaningful employment.

Esmaeil’s passion for career development stems from a deep belief in human potential and empowerment. Having experienced his own career journey as a series of chance events, he is a firm believer in the power of happenstance. In addition, he knows that integrating into a new workforce is about more than just finding a job. It is about positioning yourself to promote adaptability, confidence, and self-efficacy, ultimately reclaiming a new identity in a new context.

Esmaeil loves helping clients break down systemic barriers, recognize their potential, and transform their skills into a fulfilling professional future in Canada.
