Today, on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, Career Professionals of Canada stands in solidarity with Indigenous Peoples. We pause to reflect on the painful legacy of residential schools and honour the Survivors, their families, and the children who never returned home.

Guided by our creed of Purposeful Kindness, we recognize that reconciliation begins with awareness, learning, and action. We acknowledge the traditional territories where our members live and work, and we are committed to walking this path of healing and understanding together.

We encourage all career professionals across Canada to take time today to listen to Indigenous voices, support Indigenous-led initiatives, and consider how each of us can contribute to meaningful reconciliation in our communities.
