Certified members of Career Professionals of Canada are invited to submit an expression of interest in acting as a Certification Assessor for one or more of these certifications:
- Certified Career Strategist (CCS)
- Certified Work-Life Strategist (CWS)
- Certified Interview Strategist (CIS)
- Certified Employment Strategist (CES)
- Certified Résumé Strategist (CRS)
Certification Assessors are selected and appointed based on the following criteria:
- They have the credentials, experience, and qualifications to evaluate the CCS, CWS, CIS, CES, and/or the CRS certification(s).
- They have displayed an outstanding and in-depth understanding of the subject matter associated with the certification(s) they are evaluating.
- Their existing contributions to the profession demonstrate competence, credibility, integrity, and sound professional judgement.

Time Commitment
1-2 hours per month. The time commitment required for this role is flexible depending upon the number of submissions received.
Responsibilities
- Review and assess (mark) sample documents and/or case studies submitted by applicants a few times a month.
- Mark the work of your colleagues applying for certification.
- Provide input on areas for improvement (certification program and process).
- Work with the team to evaluate and improve certification eGuides, as required.
- Participate in Certification Assessment Team Zoom Meetings twice per year to discuss issues and to provide input soon areas for improvement in the Certification Program and process.
The Certification Chair, Compliance Director, and Executive Director of Career Professionals of Canada have the overall responsibility for selecting and appointing Certification Assessors on behalf of Career Professionals of Canada and our membership.
