Happy Halloween!

Halloween (All Hallows’ Eve) is the night in the year when we enjoy spooky fun all across Canada.

Halloween safety tips from Health Canada.

In days gone by, some believed that the spirits of the dead cross over into the world of the living during All Hallows’ Eve. These days, Halloween is more fun than frightening. From coast-to-coast across Canada, we have family-friendly events. Families carve pumpkins into jack-o-lanterns and decorate their front yards. Across Canada, children “trick-or-treat” in their neighborhood. Costume parties, haunted houses, hayrides, bonfires, and bobbing for apples are some of the ways people celebrate the day.

Happy Halloween! Remember to stay safe. If you are driving during the late afternoon or evening, be particularly aware of children in costume crossing the street while “trick-or-treating”.
