Pathways to Certification

The Competency-Based Process is for experienced professionals with at least one year of paid work in their certification area. It requires passing a Qualifications Exam, completing an assignment and demonstrating expertise.

The Course-Based Process suits those looking to deepen their knowledge before the exam, combining a certification course with the Qualifications Exam and final assignment.

Both pathways offer flexibility and uphold the high standards of Career Professionals of Canada, making certification accessible at any career stage.

Learning Lab Courses

Learning Lab Courses are self-directed and provide 15 hours of continuing education. They allow professionals to learn at their own pace and enhance their expertise in specific career development areas. Courses are $75.00 for members and range in price for non-members.
