At Career Professionals of Canada, we take social responsibility seriously. As a social enterprise, our mission is to inspire and enable practitioners in advancing their career, business, and professional development goals. Career development is a helping profession and the work we do plays a great part in our mutual quest for social justice.

CPC’s 2020 Annual Report tells you all about our association’s outstanding accomplishments and documents our commitment to social responsibility. Thank you to our advisors, managers, and volunteers for supporting our evolution. Your expertise and guidance have been indispensable to our organization as you helped us co-create a much-needed collaborative and interactive social enterprise. You have been – and continue to be – such a vital part of our community, helping us to collectively learn so much about our ever-evolving world of work.

Call To Action

Our call to action for 2021 is to intentionally and mindfully strengthen the CPC brand, and to make an impact within the career development profession, nationally and globally. To that end, we have the following goals in mind:

  • SOCIAL JUSTICE – Cement our culture of diversity and inclusion.
  • SOCIAL MEDIA – Expand our reach, awareness, and engagement.
  • SOCIAL ENTERPRISE – Grow our membership, courses, and certifications.


At CPC, we are blessed by the generous efforts of our very responsive members. CPC members are very giving of their time and talents. Our programs and benefits are a result of the hard work and dedication of many volunteers.

Our members collaborate to maximize our collective social impact. Sharon Graham is founder and executive director of Career Professionals of Canada. Committed to setting the standard for excellence in the career development profession, Sharon has authored top selling paperback publications and textbooks, and has established a range of certification, professional development, community development, mentoring and award programs. As executive director of CPC, she provides foresight and leadership within sector and ensures that the mandate of this national organization is upheld with integrity.
