CPC Member of the Week: Emma Hartley

Emma Hartley is a CPC Member of the Week.

Emma Hartley is a dedicated career educator who has provided invaluable support to numerous emerging professionals by fostering community, offering career guidance, and assisting with job searches. Presently, she is a part of Yorkville University’s Career Services team, where she facilitates connections between alumni and current or graduating students through mentoring, events, and diverse opportunities for sharing guidance and advice. Recently, Emma successfully launched the university’s inaugural Mentoring Program for Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology students, and she is excited to spearhead another mentoring initiative for undergraduate students in Business Administration this summer. Prior to her role at Yorkville, Emma served as a career education specialist, assisting students and alumni at Toronto Metropolitan University. She also held a position as a Committee Chair for POV, a non-profit organization focused on media training. With a background spanning 15 years in the film and TV industry, working in Canada, the US, and the UK, Emma brings a wealth of experience to her career education work. Additionally, she dedicates her spare time to running Start in Screen, a grassroots organization. CPC Members Matter!
