At Career Professionals of Canada (CPC), we are committed to helping shape the future of the career development profession. We’re thrilled to announce that as we continue to grow and expand our reach, we are seeking visionary leaders join us.
Established in 2004, CPC has attracted members from all provinces and territories, as well as beyond our borders. Our diverse membership includes career professionals from universities, colleges, government organizations, non-profit services, and private sector businesses. In 2022, we took a significant step forward by incorporating as a not-for-profit association, positioning ourselves to better serve the needs of our 950+ members. We strive to provide our members with exceptional value through a range of membership benefits, communications, certifications, courses, awards programs, and engagement opportunities. By delivering these benefits, we enable them to offer high-quality career services and help clients navigate the ever-changing world of work successfully.
Now, we invite qualified leaders to bring their name forward for two crucial roles within CPC:
- Executive Director – Contract Role: As the Executive Director (ED) of CPC, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of our association and shaping the future of the career development profession in Canada. We are looking for an experienced leader who will drive our vision forward. - Board Directors – Volunteer Role (5 Positions Available): We are currently recruiting up to five new Directors to join our Board for a maximum term of four years. Our aim is to build a Board that reflects the diversity of the Canadian career development community and the broader labour market. We are seeking energetic and committed professionals who will contribute to the growth and evolution of our new national not-for-profit association.
