The Employment Specialist/Facilitator facilitates career and life management workshop, inspiring and supporting Learners to achieve their greatest potential. Adult learning principles and deep subject matter knowledge are key to achieving the learning objectives. This role actively works with Learners who have completed the program to find, maintain, and grow within employment opportunities. They liaise with employers to obtain job leads and search the internet to find a variety of suitable job postings. As well, they prepare, support, and monitor Learners in the initial stages of employment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years group facilitation and job placement experience working with clients with barriers to employment
  • a firm understanding of adult learning principles
