The Career Developer assists learners to find and maintain employment in the Customer Service/ Retail industry. The Career Developer plays a key role in building relationships with employers, providing them with information, advantages, and benefits of hiring our Learners, and establishing EmployMe Calgary as a resource for their recruitment needs.

This role is also responsible for facilitating career and life management workshops, and inspires and supports Learners to achieve their greatest potential. Adult learning principles and deep subject matter knowledge are key to achieving the learning objectives.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years of job placement or case management experience
  • experience working with unemployed persons of all skill, experience and education levels
